Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Binghamton University and an MBA from the University of Kentucky. Previously, he was employed by Thomson McKinnon Securities, Inc., where he held several positions, including Vice President & Director, Financial Planning. Bob founded Moneywatch Corporation in 1980 to provide fee-based financial planning. He reviews all accounts and determines the investment strategy and selection of investments for clients. He is responsible for banking, accounting and payroll. Bob resides in Naples, Florida (September-May) and in Lexington (June-August).

Ramsey leads Moneywatch Advisors, Inc. in its mission to guide individuals, families, businesses and charitable organizations towards their financial goals by placing their interests first and acting as their fiduciary. Ramsey joined the financial advisory company in 1998 as graduate of Clemson University, with a degree in Financial Management.
Ramsey has experienced working on all of the varied roles at Moneywatch and qualified as a Certified Financial Planner™, or CFP®, whilst on her road to becoming the President and co-owner of the business. This experience has given her the ability to build and manage a great team that works together to achieve the goals of every client.
Ramsey is responsible for all aspects of the general management of the business in addition to the daily business environment, operations and preparing financial and retirement plans for clients whilst acting as a personal financial advisors and guide to all.

Robert J. Hammond

Robert J. Hammond is responsible for expanding Moneywatch’ s personalized services to a vibrant market of entrepreneurs and professionals who are looking for a trustworthy partner in building wealth for their family’s future.
Robert graduated from Southampton University in England with a degree in Environmental Science and is currently enrolled at the College for Financial Planning working towards the educational requirements to sit for the CFP® exam.
A Londoner by birth who began his career in sales and business management in England’s thoroughbred industry, Robert has made his mark in Central Kentucky through his affiliations with significant horse operations, including Darby Dan Farm and WinStar; and successful racehorses, such as Shackleford and Super Saver. In addition to his new position, Hammond also serves as vice chairman at Darby Dan Farm.
He uses his horse industry knowledge and the lessons learned in building successful businesses in this arena to help create a satisfying and secure financial future for individuals and their families. Robert works with entrepreneurs in all fields who often find that operating demands take priority over personal needs like retirement funding and education planning.
He is married to Ramsey Bova, president of Moneywatch Advisors. They live in Lexington with their two sons, Pierse and Chase.
Stephen R. Byars
With 25 years’ experience as a Moneywatch client, Steve joined the firm at the beginning of 2017. Prior to joining the team, Steve was the Assistant Vice President for Government Relations at the University of Kentucky for almost 13 years and has developed a passion for helping people achieve their own financial independence after experiencing first-hand how the Moneywatch team guided him and his wife, Lisa Blackadar, and their two children to greater financial success.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. After completing the coursework required to earn the Certified Financial Planner designation in 2015, Steve sat for and passed the CFP exam in 2016.
He serves on the boards of directors of both the YMCA of Central Kentucky and the God’s Pantry Food Bank as well as Commerce Lexington’s Public Policy Council. Steve and his family live in Lexington.
Associate Advisor, Assistant Director of Financial Planning
Joe is responsible for supporting the lead advisors. With a desire to work more closely with individual investors, Joe transitioned into personal financial planning after serving as treasury manager in higher education. He joined the team in June of 2013.
He is an active member of Financial Planning Association (FPA). He holds an associate degree from the University of Kentucky and working towards satisfying the CFP Board education requirements.
Joe and his wife, Dr. Karen Schell, live in Lexington with their two sons Charlie and Ollie.
William H. Leffler, Certified Financial Planner™
Bill has been associated with the firm since August of 1986. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College, Hebrew Union College and College for Financial Planning. Bill serves a variety of individuals as a financial advisor and lives in Kennebunkport, Maine. He travels to the Lexington offices every three months.
Lee is responsible for company administration, technology and communication, and database management. Lee joined the firm in December of 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance and Risk Management from Eastern Kentucky University.
Lee, his wife, Kim, and their two sons Cade and Caldwell, live in Lexington.
